This pressure gauge set can be used to test fuel pump pressure, emission control devices, leaky, stuck open, or burnt valves, as well as clogged mufflers, turbos, or exhaust systems. It helps locate leaks in the gas line, valve timing, worn-out rings and seals, and issues with heating and air conditioning components. The set can also be used for testing engine vacuum lines, brake assist systems, carburetors, and intake manifolds for leaks, vacuum, or pressure loss.
The pressure gauge has a large, 4-inch diameter scale with color-coded measurements, a rubber-surrounded protective casing, and a hook on the top, making it easy to read and use. The range of vacuum dials is 0-28 in/Hg Vac, 0-70 cm/Hg, while the range of pressure dials is 0-10 psi/g, 0-0.7 kg/cm2.
The kit comes with a 2-foot (61 cm) rubber hose with an internal diameter of 13/64 inches and an external diameter of 23/64 inches. The maximum working pressure of the hose is 40 PSI. The kit also includes various accessories, such as a conical adapter, a plastic connector, a 1/4"x18 male to 1/8"-27 female adapter, a 1/8"-27 male to 7/32" barbed fitting adapter, a 1/8"-27 female to 3/8" male adapter, and a T-type 7/32" barbed fitting adapter.
The entire set is housed in a heavy-duty, blow-molded plastic carrying case measuring 11" x 5.7" x 2.4" (28 cm x 14.5 cm x 6 cm), allowing for easy transportation, safe storage, and quick organization. The pressure gauge set is intended for use with carburetor engines with a mechanical fuel pump operating at pressures below 10 PSI (0.7 Bar).
