OTC 6046 Quick-Connect Release Tool for GM
APPLICATION: C/K TRUCK
The 0.75 inch (3/4") heater lines originating from the instrument panel (I.P.) are equipped with quick connect style fittings. Access to these connectors is highly restricted, and they feature four tangs that must be depressed simultaneously. To disconnect the heater line, follow these steps:
- Slide the J-43181 disconnect tool over the heater line.
- Clamp the tool over the line.
- Then, press the tool into the connector to release it.
